Our seniors entertained Sandbach last Tuesday in our first home team match since 2019. They made a winning return, but it was close as they beat a battling Sandbach team by 4.5 to 3.5.
Led by seniors Captain Paul Frost and playing partner Dave Tranter it was nice to see our team make a winning return. The Sandbach players certainly seemed to enjoy the course and the food afterwards! It was nice to see a buzzing clubhouse indoors again and we look forward to a busy summer season of matches.
The seniors have another home match next week against a team from Portal Arderne Golf Club.
